Today is the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
While it is true that many schools and businesses are closed today, like on many national holidays, today is not like other holidays.
Today is meant to remind us all of a great man. A man that they did not see black or while...but a man that saw right and wrong.
Dr. King was not just a leader of the southern black community, he was much more. Dr. King was a leader for justice....justice for all people of all races.
So this day, remember Dr. King and remember, it is people like him that make this nation so great.
