Just as New Mexico moves to sign a bill that would require the vaccine, the Texas Legislature is moving to kill the governor's executive order mandating vaccination against human papillomavirus for schoolgirls.
Virginia lawmakers passed a similar law, which Gov. Timothy M. Kaine has said he would sign.
Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick's budget proposal calls for providing the vaccine for free to all girls 9 to 18 who want it.
Massachusetts is going to make it free and not force it on the public? Sounds good to me...
