Dell + Ubuntu = Personal

I just saw this story on /. and it has confirmed my feelings that I had about this Dell/Ubuntu deal.

After dealing with Dell in the past, I knew that we see "Personal" systems and "Business" systems totally difference. I had to go to eBay to buy my D600 because I am not a business.

Anyways, I figured that Dell would push Ubuntu on the personal line of machines and push Novell on the business line of machine. It makes sense. SUSE has a big business following and the OS comes packed with enterprise management tools and applications.

Looks like my feeling was right....

I should have asked the Dell employee that was in front of me this morning getting Kolaches....o'well.
