The Hacker's Choice Projects Blocked, Thanks Anti-Hacking Laws

The Hacker's Choice is forced to discontinue several of its projects, as these might be effected by a new German 'anti-hacking' law. As a consequence all exploits and many releases have been removed from our web site. We are sorry.

THC-Hyrda, THC-Orakel, THC-WarDrive and other are now blocked.

THC-Amap is still available however.

Nice Going law makers...you are only going to push these tools underground and therefore only a limited group will be exposed to them - thus making the tools more dangerous. While tools are in the public their negative side can be balanced by vendors and whitehats using the tool.

Sadly, these laws have only blocked those that were keeping the darkside in check. A very similar update to UK's Computer Misuse Act was suspended for this exact reason.

Actions should be outlawed, not tools. Tools can be used for good or bad. Kitchen knifes and hammers are next unless real world common sense is applied to the expanding digital world.
