What is the NSF_OSC??
Well, I asked my contacts in NSF and here is the answer....

The NSF_OSC is a highly-informal, sub-department of the cDc-NSF. Which, in it's turn, is a sub-department of the cDc...uh...so, I guess it's a sub-sub-department that operates on it's own but, in the service of the cDc...kinda like when Phil Collins and Philip Bailey got together to do "Easy Lover".
We are primarily concerned with things like culture jamming via the web, helping random strangers, the stealth distribution of memes, throwing wrenches into small cogs of the machine, getting laid, altering our states of consciousness, etc. In short, all the things that a truly, legendary and elite group is capable off.
Anything is possible.
