Pakistan Test Fires Nuclear-Capable Cruise Missile

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday successfully test-fired a surface-to-surface cruise missile.

According to ISPR, the launch of the Hatf-VII or Babur missile, which has a range of 700 kilometers (435 miles), was "part of a continuous process of validating the design parameters set for this weapon system.’’

The test was witnessed by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Tariq Majid, senior military officers, scientists and engineers of strategic organisations.

The test will consolidate Pakistan’s strategic capability and strengthen national security.

According to GlobalSecurity, this surface-to-surface missile is capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

    I will lower the level of IQs a bit and troll but since:

    a) Pakistan has nuclear capabilities
    and

    b)Has hostile intentions towards India (at the very least)

    and

    c) Personal estimation is not the most stable of regimes on the face of planet Earth(a western backed theocratic dictatorship)

    doesn't that classify it as a serious potential threat to world peace?

  2. Did anyone tell you TK, Pakistan is our friend in fighting terrorism? ;)

    The United States did paid very close attention to the nuclear arms in Pakistan and might have even paid (like with money) to have them secured.
