Kaiser: ID Breach Came From Another Office

Via MSNBC.com -

Kaiser Permanente said Friday it was not the source of personal employee data breach that affected 29,500 people.

The company said information was taken in July from the offices of United Healthcare Workers, a labor union that represents Kaiser employees.

Kaiser said it provided the information to UHW in connection with dues payments, which the employees authorized.

The case is still under investigation.
