Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building, will open Monday (January 4, 2010) in a carefully orchestrated ceremony before a crowd of thousands.
I was in Dubai recently and the Burj Dubai is insanely tall. The illustration is great but seeing the thing in person is entirely different. The top of the Empire State Building's antenna is 443m. The Burj is nearly twice as tall.
