Google Chrome is a beta browser built with open source code from Chromium.

Chromium is an open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all Internet users to experience the web.   2. Google Chrome isn't going to reach the level that Firefox has...they don't have the same mission. The feature that come out of the Chrome project will filter down into the rest of the browser market sooner or later.

    Plus, rumors are surfacing about Google Chrome vulns - i.e. Safari Carpet Bomb attacks.

  3. It'll have all the vulnerabilities WebKit does. But more devs and more users poking and prodding can only be good for WebKit.

  4. I agree fully. Google will bring some parts to the browser game that are badly needed. So far, the V8 JavaScript engine is looking pretty damn fast.
